Where can I buy rice noodles online?
I need microwaveable rice noodles in bulk–like ramen, but gluten-free (without wheat). I’ve found a few sites that have stove-top noodles, but I’m in college–so no hot plate! I do have a rice cooker, though, so that would work as well.
Thanks so much!
I’m looking for something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Asia-Shiitake-Mushroom-2-5-Ounce/dp/B000KPQ2B6
only not as expensive.
I have never bought Groceries online but i know of a web site that you can buy from:

You could also go to this web site and see which ships to your area:

I eat them too, but not as much as I used to eat ordinary snack noodles before I discovered I was GI! Rice noodles will cook just with boiling water, like a pot noodle. They end up pretty slimy, but they always do, no matter how you cook them. The finest ones (like very thin vermicelli) are the nicest, because it’s less noticeable.
Put the noodles in a jug or something else made of plastic, so that you don’t lose heat warming up the container, pour over boiling water and add the contents of the taste sachet (rice noodles generally come with a taste sachet in the pack, just like ordinary snack noodles). Leave for up to 4 minutes, stir up, and then you can eat them.
Those noodle soup bowls you linked to look ridiculously expensive. I’m sure if you went to a real asian store you could buy at least twice as many for that amount of money, if not more.
The biggest selection of flavors will be in asian oriental grocers – mainly japanese or korean. They are not as cheap as ordinary snack noodles, but still pretty cheap.
Because the packs are all in strange writing I can’t read, what I did was to buy a pack of each of the different flavors, and if a pack was nice, I would keep the empty packet to take with me to the store next time.
