If you take college classes while you're still in high school, online or otherwise, then it would count as a dual enrollment class. You would need to try to get in contact with your guidance counselor to arrange it.

Most online classes are set up that you can work at your own pace as long as you complete a certain thing by a set date. It all depends on the class on how fast you would be able to complete. Some classes have tests set for specific dates that you won't be able to access until then and others will let you complete everything at once

1) yes, it's possible. You may want to take the placement test at college as soon as possible. Learn about the summer progrom for high school students. That's the best suggestion I could give.

2. Normally, when you enrolled in college, you will have student's ID. You can enroll your classes online through your college website with that ID#. Go to the admissions office for answers if you have more concern. Therefore, it's not necessary to call someone to arrange these courses.

3. When you enrolled in that class, there will be a mandatory orientation that the professor set. I think you can find out about the mandatory date and time in the college course catalog. At the orientation, you will know all the information needed to study and to succeed in that class. Your professor will provide you really good advices and stuff. So don't worry much. Professor will give you a syllabus. In that syllabus, you will know how many assignments you will have during the semester, and then you will also know the due date of each assignment, too. So all you have to do is that you need to study on your own and finish all the assignments on time. (You will figure it out).

4. Taking 1 online class is not a burden at all. But you have to be self-disclined and it does require a lot of motivation, too, because you are on your own for most of the time. No peer interaction. And the most rewarding aspect of taking online class is that you can take quiz or exam (before due date and due time) whenever you feel like you wanna do it. In most cases, assignments, quiz, and exams due at 12 o'clock at night and at weekend.

I am happy to clear them up for you if you have any more concerns. I completed five online courses at college already: English, American History, two art history classes, and Psychology.

Which classes are you going to take?
